Some links to selected websites. There are lots more performers, bands, festivals, folk song & dance clubs in the area: we can't link to them all and some don't have websites! Get your hands on a copy of listings magazine Folk Roundabout.

Dogwatch are SFC residents John & Joy Rennie.

The Young 'uns (Dave Eagle, Sean Cooney & Michael Hughes) feature regular, zany podcasts on their site which include recordings made in the Sun and have showcased several of the club regulars.

Locos in Motion are a mixed (male & female) border morris side. We have to mention them because at the last count 6 members of the Club played for or danced with them.

Dave Turner is one of our regular MCs and plays the concertina. However, his main calling is as a caller at ceilidhs. His site includes instructions for some of the dances he has written.

Denis Dunning , now a regular at the club, is a professional photographer specialising in folk events. His site has lots of excellent images of performers at Stockton, guests and regulars alike.

Terri's Gig Guide features as part of the Davy Lamp folk club's excellent website. Terri Freeman gives a weekly summary of folk events in the region and links to other folk club websites.

The Northern Echo has a web-based listings service. Search under Music - Folk & Country, optionally by town, and click on the artist / event for details. The Echo also features a weekly folk column by Jez Lowe which can be accessed on-line.

The Yorkshire Garland Group has the aim to make Yorkshire's folk-song tradition generally available for free (as far as copyright and technology allow). The new website has over 80 songs so far, as audio files and in print, plus links to other song sources.
